Bowling Green Junior High: Wellbeing in Action

BGJHS students spent Wednesday focused on healthy choices and supporting one another. The day included interactive lessons on the health risks of vaping with strategies for positive self-care. A second session covered the topic of being an active bystander, standing up to bullying and creating a supportive school environment.

A highlight of the day was the wheelchair basketball game; appreciating diverse strengths, teamwork, and belonging within our school community.

The day ended with a pep rally celebrating student athletes.

Thanks to Bowling Green Parks and Recreation and Hope Harbor for their help with hosting today's sessions!
